Program Maps

Program Maps provide students with guides to finish their degrees in a timely manner. For the Associate in Arts (AA) Degree, Program Maps are provided for the most common transfer intents. These maps list the courses students must complete to earn the AA and be ready to transfer to a bachelor’s degree program. For Associate in Science (AS), Associate in Applied Science (AAS), Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS), and Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees and certificate programs, Program Maps list the courses students must complete to earn the degree and be ready to enter the workforce. Program Maps are intended to be a guide and students should always consult with their Student Success Advisor to develop their own personalized Educational Plan.  AA transfer intents and degree and certificate programs are organized into eight Pathways.   1. Arts, Humanities, Communication, and Design Pathway

    Arts, Humanities, Communication, and Design programs explore human creativity, language arts, visual communication, and artistic expression to help people connect with the world in meaningful ways. This Pathway is designed for students with interests in visual and performing arts, digital media, design, and journalism.

  2. Business Pathway

    Business programs equip individuals with skills and knowledge to be successful in organizations of differing types and sizes. This Pathway is designed for students who have an interest in areas such as business management and administration, entrepreneurship, finance, hospitality, marketing, tourism, and healthcare administration.

  3. Commerce and Transportation

    Commerce and Transportation programs include the study of production and assembly of goods, maintenance and safety, and the movement of goods and services. This Pathway is designed for students who have an interest in areas such as aerospace sciences, supply chain management, and transportation and logistics.

  4. Education Pathway

    Education programs prepare future educators and other professionals to serve a diverse population of students. This Pathway is designed for students who have an interest in teaching and learning in a variety of educational settings.

    Public Safety programs study the welfare and protection of citizens and institutions against threats and dangers. This Pathway is designed for students with interests in areas such as criminal justice, corrections, the legal system, firefighting, and law enforcement.

    Social and Behavioral Sciences and Human Services programs study human motivations and behaviors that impact quality of life, social issues, and society’s future. This Pathway is designed for students with interests in areas such as human behavior, helping others, management, politics, and the interactions of society at large.
