Learning Technology
The Learning Technology Department supports and manages all distance education initiatives for the College, including Canvas, our Learning Management System, and technologies such as Honorlock, VidGrid, Infobase, Turnitin, and other tools accessible from within Canvas. The department also provides technical assistance for all Polk State College students, faculty, and staff. The Teaching and Learning Innovation Centers are an extension of Learning Technology, which serve as a resource to faculty for facilitating innovation and technology adoption to enhance pedagogy and promote best practices in all course delivery models.
