    The CCTV project is technology-based and is exempt from the competitive process pursuant to Polk State College purchasing manual, page#6 par(1)(a)(16) and SBE rule 6a-14.0734(2)(g).

    Polk State College selected three (3) technology suppliers from the state purchasing list with current educational experience. Each supplier, during an on-site review, presented their experiences, and services, and demonstrated the proposed software. Additionally, each supplier installed a test camera to demonstrate software viability. Following their on-site assessment of camera locations, each supplier was provided a scope of work with timeline and deliverables. Selection of the technology supplier for contract negotiations is based on a matrix, aligning with the college’s scoring process.

    The submittal forms are available in Word format here and an updated box label can be downloaded here.

    • The due date for proposals was changed from April 3, 2015 to April 8, 2015. Proposals must be received by the Purchasing Department no later than 4:00 p.m. on April 8, 2015.  Proposals received after that time will be returned unopened.

    M/WBE’s are encouraged to bid.
