Polk State Pantry

Located on the Lakeland campus, Polk State Pantry provides students discreet and confidential assistance by offering food and personal hygiene items. We provide a variety of options for quick-prep items, pantry staples, and snacks. In addition to canned items and the usual non-perishables, we also maintain a selection of cereal bars, fruit cups, and other single-serving snacks. The Pantry also maintains a limited supply of frozen food items & bottled water.

The shelves of the Pantry are stocked by the generous donations of staff, faculty, and students of the College, as well as various grants & other funding resources. In addition to receiving products, the Pantry is able to accept monetary donations via the link below. 100% of the donations received are used to stock the shelves with items for students.

My Brother’s Keeper

My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) is housed on the Winter Haven and Lakeland campuses but available to support Polk State College students everywhere who may be experiencing barriers that could impact their ability to remain enrolled and complete their degree. MBK provides students with access to food, snacks, beverages, personal hygiene items, referrals to community resources, and limited emergency financial assistance. Emergency financial assistance is available through an application process, and approval is not guaranteed.

MBK is made possible through the generous support of Polk State College faculty, staff, students, and community members. Donations help keep the shelves stocked and ensure students have access to essential resources when they need them most. Monetary donations may be made at the Cash Management Office on campus or online through the Polk State College Foundation donation link: https://secure.qgiv.com/for/pscfd

100% of donations received for MBK are used to stock the shelves and provide direct resources to support Polk State students.
