Nursing Student Organizations
We are proud of our Polk State College chapter of the Florida Nursing Student Association (FNSA), which has received numerous awards and recognition at both the state and national levels over the past 20 years. Our Polk State College FNSA chapter won the prestigious title of “Chapter of the Year” four times in the past few years! FNSA focuses on promoting leadership development, mentoring, community outreach, and enhancing professional education among our future nurses. Students are eligible to join after completing 9 hours of prerequisite courses. Be sure to visit our FNSA website at www.pscfnsa.org for more information about how to join, scholarship opportunities, and upcoming activities. The faculty advisor is Lynda Schaak.
