Testing

The Tutoring and Testing Centers provide a variety of testing services for current and future Polk State students, as well as students of other institutions.

All tests are administered by appointment, and some test types require pre-approval.

Refer to the menu of test options to the left for additional information about your particular test type before scheduling an appointment.

Each test taker MUST present photo identification

Please see additional information about acceptable forms of ID below.

Polk State students: If your instructor has indicated that you are to take a test in the Tutoring and Testing Centers, you will need to schedule an appointment via RegisterBlast. Sign in to Canvas, then select the course for which you are testing. From the left navigation menu, choose the “Schedule Testing Appointment” link for the campus where you will be testing. Follow the prompts to choose the correct test and book your appointment.

Please note that all tests must be scheduled at least one day in advance.

Faculty and Students can get more detailed information on the Tutoring and Testing Centers Test Scheduling page located here or by contacting the Tutoring and Testing Centers.

Individuals taking the PERT or FCLE (Florida Civic Literacy Exam) will receive an email with scheduling links and additional instructions once approved for testing.

If you need to reschedule an existing PERT or FCLE appointment or are retaking the FCLE, please use the RegisterBlast link below to schedule at your preferred campus.
