Polk State collegiate high schools accepting applications, hosting info sessions

Posted on by Polk Newsroom

With a new year underway, each of Polk State College’s collegiate high schools are currently accepting applications for the 2025-2026 Academic Year.

Polk State’s three charter high schools allow students to simultaneously complete requirements for their high school diplomas while earning college credits at no cost to them. In most cases, students graduate with both their high school diplomas and Associate in Arts (AA) degrees.

To help parents and students make informed decisions about which school is right for them, each of the three collegiate high schools will hold multiple information sessions over the next several weeks.

Polk State Lakeland Collegiate High School will be accepting applications for all of January and February. Its information sessions take place on Jan. 9 and Jan. 21 at 6 p.m. on the Lakeland Campus at LTB 1100.

Polk State Chain of Lakes Collegiate High School will accept applications through March 7. It will hold information sessions on Jan. 14, Feb. 11, and Feb. 20, with each taking place at 6:30 p.m. in WST 126 on the Winter Haven Campus.

Polk State Lakeland Gateway to College Collegiate High School will hold its final two information sessions on Jan. 7 and Feb. 4. The sessions take place at 6:30 p.m. at LTB 1100 on the Lakeland Campus.
