The Associate in Science in Early Childhood Education and Management Program allows teacher candidates to earn two Polk State professional certificates and satisfy eligibility requirements to apply for two State of Florida credentials.

Teacher candidates may choose to continue their education beyond the certificate/credential level by earning the Associate in Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Management. This program consists of 60 credit hours. Of those, 18 hours are general electives, 39 hours are program core courses, and three hours are electives. The program curriculum focuses on providing teacher candidates with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to deliver safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate education for infants to preschool-age children.
