Polk State Lake Wales Hosting Ed-E Cooper, R&B and Jazz Artist, on Wednesday

Polk State Lake Wales will host a performance by Ed-E Cooper, an R&B and jazz artist, at 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 5 at the Polk State JD Alexander Center, 152 E. Central Ave.

The concert is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided by Polk State SALO (Student Activities and Leadership Office).

Cooper has been playing music for three decades. He has performed around the world, including in Atlantic City, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece and Africa. In 2005, he created his Nu Soul Company, which performs at parties, weddings and corporate events.

Cooper’s concert is part of the Polk State Lake Wales Arts Center’s Downtown Concert Series and Arts Incubator Series, both of which have brought a wide variety of musicians, actors, and visual artists to the area.
