Polk State closed July 3 in observance of Independence Day
Polk State College will be closed on Friday, July 3, and Saturday classes will not take place on July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
The College will reopen on Monday, July 6. However, individuals who need assistance may email:
- registrar@polk.edu for admission and registration
- onlineadvisinga@polk.edu (A-M) or onlineadvisingz@polk.edu (N-Z) for advising based on the first letter of their last name
- financialaid@polk.edu for financial aid
- deregistration@polk.edu for dual enrollment
Registration continues to take place for the Fall 2026 Semester. Classes will begin on Aug. 10.
Students currently enrolled at Polk State may register for classes through the Polk Portal.
Prospective students must submit a free, online application to the College at polk.edu/admission-aid.
