Programs of Study

Polk State College’s Associate in Science in Computer Systems & Business Analysis degree prepares students for rewarding careers, integrating professional projects and paid internship opportunities in addition to the program’s quality curriculum. Faculty are experienced instructors and professionals in their fields who help ensure that students are prepared to work. Through relationships with local business and industry leaders, faculty keep their fingers on the pulse of business processes, policies, and information systems in order to properly instruct students on how to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate changes. Students receive engaging, practical, technical, and analytical skills that are most important in the IT job market.

AS TRANSFER

The Computer Systems & Business Analysis AS degree at Polk State College transfers into the BAS in Supervision and Management Program also here at Polk State College. This is a great and affordable transition that allows students to earn a degree concentrated in Business Information Technology and earn a bachelor’s degree within two years. Transferring into this program helps eliminate those required prerequisites that other students will need to take before entering the BAS program. These two degrees can be used at a university to earn a master’s degree. Take advantage of this opportunity for success.
