Students perform fall concerts

Polk State Music showcased its students’ skills this fall in a pair of concerts on the Winter Haven campus. The Polk State College Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Society performed October 17, and the Symphonic Band and String Ensemble took the stage October 24.

All proceeds from the concerts, which took place under the direction of Don West, professor of music and director of bands, went to student scholarship funds.
