Polk State OTA Program to host info sessions ahead of September application period

Polk State College’s Occupational Therapy Assistant Program will host informational sessions in August and September for individuals interested in applying for the 2024-2025 Academic Year. Sessions will take place:

Polk State OTA’s online application will be open from September 1 through September 30.
Prior to the application period, prospective applicants should review How to Apply information and note that they must be admitted to Polk State College and complete observation hour requirements before applying for the limited-access OTA Program.
Veterans of the U.S. Military may also benefit from two reserved seats within the program and should email veterans@polk.edu for assistance with the veteran application.
Polk State OTA’s graduates boasted nearly a 92% three-year aggregate pass rate on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Exam from 2021 through 2023, exceeding state and national averages and illustrating the rigor and quality of the program.
