Polk State College will host two Open House events for prospective students.
The first event will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on April 9 in the Lakeland Technology Building (LTB) at Polk State Lakeland, 3425 Winter Lake Road.
The second event will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on April 16 in the Student Center (WST) at Polk State Winter Haven, 999 Ave. H N.E.
At the events, attendees will complete an application; learn about the College’s academic programs and meet with faculty members; meet with representatives from Student Financial Services and receive help in completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid); learn about student clubs and activities; and tour the campus.
A three-credit-hour scholarship will also be given away during each event.

Polk State College, an open-access institution, was established in 1964, and serves more than 20,000 students annually.
