Polk State Nursing extends summer application window to May 29

Polk State College’s Nursing Program is accepting applications through May 29 for students interested in starting the generic Associate in Science in Nursing track in the Fall 2026 Semester.
The College added extra summer sections of Microbiology and Anatomy and Physiology II, allowing students to finish their prerequisites this summer to enter the Nursing Program next fall.
Admission requirements remain the same. Students must submit a free application to the College and be admitted before applying to the Nursing Program online through Etrieve. Questions can be directed to nursing@polk.edu.
Polk State Nursing is a limited-admission, sought-after program with licensure pass rates that exceed state and national averages, highlighting its success in preparing graduates for rewarding careers in healthcare. Polk State Associate in Science in Nursing graduates achieved a 100% ultimate pass rate in 2024 on the NCLEX-RN and a 97.4% first-time pass rate in 2025.
