Polk State Lakeland's Student Government Association will host a leadership event featuring Internship Program Coordinator Lynn Chisholm.

Polk State Lakeland’s Student Government Association will host a leadership event for students on April 18.

The event, dubbed Leadership SWAGG — Students Working to Accomplish Great Goals — will begin with a football challenge at 10:30 a.m. in the grassy area between the LTB and LAC buildings.

Afterward, students are invited to move to the LAC Dining Hall, where Polk State Internship Program Coordinator Lynn Chisholm will speak from noon to 1 p.m. about the importance of internships for college students.

Free food will be provided for attendees.
