Polk State College is hosting two job fairs: one on the Lakeland Campus in the Lakeland Technology Building (LTB) atrium on March 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and one on the Winter Haven Campus in the Winter Haven Health Center (WHC) gym on April 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The events are open to all students and will include representatives from a variety of employers including AdventHealth, BayCare, Citrus Connection, Coca-Cola, Florida’s Natural Growers, LEGOLAND Florida Resort, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the Polk County Supervisor of Elections, Polk County Fire Rescue, Publix, Spectrum, local municipalities, and more.
Employers will be recruiting as well as speaking with students about their industries and the skills they seek in employees. This is an opportunity for students to network, learn about career opportunities, and apply for jobs.
