Polk State closed Nov. 11 for Veterans Day

Polk State College and its collegiate high schools will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day.

Open registration for the Spring 2026 Semester will begin on Monday, Nov. 10 for all students. Classes start on Wednesday, Jan. 7.

Currently enrolled students will register for classes via the Polk Portal. Prospective students should submit a free application online at polk.edu or by clicking here.

College staff will be monitoring emails while campuses are closed on Tuesday.
