Join the Polk State Occupational Therapy Assistant Program for info sessions

Polk State College’s Occupational Therapy Assistant Program is hosting several informational sessions for prospective students to learn more about the admission process, program expectations and the rewarding career opportunities within the OTA field. The info sessions will take place virtually via Zoom (https://polk.zoom.us/j/81552732608) at noon on the following days:

June 13 and 27
July 11 and 25
August 8 and 22
September 5, 12 and 19
October 2 and 16
November 6 and 14
December 4

Polk State OTA is a two-year program that leads to an Associate in Science degree and rewarding employment in the field upon successful completion of the licensure exam. Polk State’s OTA graduates boasted an 86% three-year aggregate pass rate on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Exam from 2022 through 2024, exceeding state and national averages and illustrating the rigor and quality of the program.

The application period will take place from September 1 through September 30, 2025. Prior to the application period, prospective applicants should review the How to Apply information and note that they must be admitted to Polk State College and complete observation hour requirements before applying for the limited-access OTA Program.
