Professor Accepted to National Endowment for the Humanities Seminar

Polk State College adjunct professor Arthur Niermeier has been accepted to the National Endowment for the Humanities Seminar, “Legacies and Landmarks of the Plains Native Americans,” which will take place at Central Community College in Columbus, Neb., from June 24-29.

The seminar studies the cultures of Indian tribes that once occupied northeastern Nebraska, and will include visits to various reservations, Native American schools and ceremonial sites.
