Individuals who are interested in both employment at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort and enrolling at Polk State College should consider the Building Higher Pre-Paid Scholarship Program. This partnership provides LEGOLAND® Florida employees with scholarships that pre-pay for their tuition.
Building Higher pre-paid scholarships help ensure that eligible LEGOLAND® Florida Resort employees have no out-of-pocket tuition costs by covering tuition balances at Polk State up front that are not already covered by other forms of financial aid. The scholarships will cover all degree and non-degree programs, and provide financial support for employees who meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 60 days of employment service
- Minimum of four full days of work availability per week
- Maximum of five classes/15 credit hours per semester
- Maintain a minimum grade of C in each class
Those who are interested in employment, as well as the Building Higher Pre-Paid Scholarship Program, should email LLFRecruitment@LEGOLAND.com.
LEGOLAND® Florida Resort’s initial investment of $30,000 to the Polk State College Foundation launched the Building Higher Prepaid Scholarship Program in 2021. Since its inception, 22 scholarships have been awarded.
