Polk State welcomes freshmen at 2023 First Flight

Polk State College welcomed more than 800 first-time-in-college students to the 2023-2024 Academic Year during two First Flight Freshmen Welcome events on the Winter Haven and Lakeland campuses. Students had the opportunity to meet with College faculty and staff, learn about programs and services, and tour campuses ahead of the start of classes on August 14.
