Polk State Representatives Attend Summit in Washington, D.C.

Polk State College sent several representatives to the Association of Community College Trustees 2012 National Legislative Summit, which took place Feb. 13-16 in Washington, D.C. At the event, community college leaders advocate on education, job training and economic development policy issues; help craft and deliver the community college response to the 201federal budget proposal; meet with congressional delegates and take part in other activities and events.
