Polk State places record 21 student-athletes on NJCAA All-Academic Team

Over the last two years, the number of Polk State student-athletes who qualified for the NJCAA All-Academic Team has more than doubled. After placing 10 for the 2022-23 Academic Year and 14 last year, the Eagles had a record 21 athletes earning that distinction for the 2024-25 Academic Year.
Of the 21 Polk State student-athletes to earn NJCAA All-Academic honors, four landed on the first team. The Eagles also had 11 second-team and six third-team honorees each. Polk State Soccer led the way with nine players earning recognition.
To qualify for the NJCAA All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or greater for the 2024-25 Academic Year. The criteria for each of the three teams are listed below:
First team: 4.0 GPA
Second team: 3.8-3.99 GPA
Third team: 3.6-3.79 GPA
