Polk State Paramedic application open through July 11

The application for the Polk State Paramedic Certificate Program is open through July 11 for the 2025-2026 Academic Year.

Part of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program, the Paramedic Certificate Program provides a study of the information, skills, and techniques necessary to implement safe, effective, and appropriate care as an entry-level paramedic. Classes begin Aug. 11.

The limited admission program boasts a 100% pass rate on the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Paramedic exam. The program also has a 100% employment rate for graduates.
