Posted on by Polk Newsroom

The application for the Polk State Nursing Program’s generic and transition tracks will be open from May 15 through May 31.

Applicants to Polk State’s limited-access programs must complete the College’s free, online application and submit their official transcripts prior to applying to one of these programs. Additionally, Nursing applicants must have their Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) scores on file with the College. A more detailed admission checklist for Nursing is available by clicking here.

The program’s generic track for the Associate in Science in Nursing degree is designed for individuals who do not hold healthcare licenses or individuals with healthcare licenses who do not wish to enroll in the accelerated transition track. The transition track is for individuals who already hold healthcare certificates or are licensed practical nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, or military medics.
