Polk State PASSPORT, main phone line restored

UPDATE (July 27, 2023, at 11:55 a.m.): Polk State College’s main phone line, 863.297.1000, has been restored.

Polk State’s Institutional Technology Department will monitor the line to ensure it continues to function properly.

UPDATE (July 25, 2023, at 8:05 a.m.): Polk State College’s PASSPORT system has been restored and is working at full capacity. Polk State’s main phone line, 863.297.1000, however, remains down.

PASSPORT is Polk State’s primary database for all student academic and financial accounts. Individuals will again be able to apply to the College, register for classes, and access degree audits and financial account information via PASSPORT.

Due to the phone lines being down, individuals are encouraged to use the College’s web chat and email. The College’s web chat is available and can be found toward the bottom left corner on the homepage at www.polk.edu.

For information about admission, applications to the College, residency, admissions steps, etc. please email:

For assistance with advising, course selection, degree audits, pathways, etc. please email:

Assistance with financial aid is available by emailing financialaid@polk.edu.

Canvas, the College’s learning management system, student and employee email accounts, and the Polk State website will not be affected during the system upgrade process.

Polk State College’s main phone line, 863.297.1000, and PASSPORT are currently experiencing technical difficulties.

During this time, individuals are encouraged to use the College’s web chat and email. The College’s web chat is available and can be found toward the bottom left corner on the homepage at www.polk.edu.
