Polk State holds first forensics tournament

The Polk State College Speech and Debate Team held its first forensics tournament Oct. 11-12 on the Lakeland campus. 

More than a hundred students from across the state took part in speech and debate competitions, including communication analysis, after-dinner speaking, prose interpretation, extemporaneous speaking, poetry interpretation, informative speaking, persuasive speaking, and more.
