Polk State debuts robust arts schedule for spring 2026

Polk State College will pull back the curtains on an exciting season of musical performances, theatrical productions and art exhibitions this Sunday with the first event: The Chain O’ Lakes Big Band’s “This Could Be The Start of Something Big.” Chain O’ Lakes Big Band performances are free and open to the public at the Polk State Winter Haven Fine Arts Theatre.

This season will run through April 28 with a plethora of events for the community to enjoy. Highlights include two theatre productions, “Doubt: A Parable” in February and “The Good Doctor” in April, four gallery exhibits, including the upcoming “Art and Healing” and the Spring Choir Concert to conclude the season.

The College’s Special Performance Series also returns with acts including Liz Longley, The Edge Effect presents ICONS the Show!, The Modern Gentlemen, The Bronx Wanderers and Turnstiles: The Ultimate Tribute to the Music of Billy Joel.
