Polk State College Start Right Campaign 2023

Polk State College hosted its annual Start Right Campaign on July 29 at the Polk State JD Alexander Center in Lake Wales. Hundreds of backpacks, school supplies, free haircuts, a food pantry, and more were provided to students from kindergarten through college. This year’s top sponsors were The Freedom Tour, Duke Energy, Coca-Cola Auburndale, CareerSource Polk, Tonya Stewart Law Firm, AdventHealth Lake Wales, and Dyer Kia. Silver sponsors included the City of Lake Wales, Citizens Bank & Trust, GST: The Family Church, MIDFLORIDA Credit Union, and Walmart. SouthState Bank and Brewer Sales & Service served as bronze sponsors, and Lake Wales Family Restaurant served as the breakfast sponsor.
