Polk State bookstores will open for in-person services

As Polk State College transitions to Phase III of its Return to Campus Plan with all services opening on campus, Polk State’s on-campus bookstores will provide in-person services beginning August 2, 2021.

The College’s bookstores, located on the Lakeland and Winter Haven campuses, will be open to allow convenient access for students to return textbooks, complete textbook buyback transactions, and purchase or rent instructional materials for the fall semester.

Bookstore hours are as follows:

  • August 2 – August 13 | Monday – Friday | 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • August 14 | Saturday | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • August 16 – 20 | Monday – Friday | 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • August 23 – 27 | Monday – Friday | 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • August 30 – November 23 | Monday – Friday | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Closed weekends
  • November 29 – December 10 | 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. | Closed weekends

Both bookstores will continue to offer online ordering, delivery by mail, and curbside pickup. Additionally, Polk State’s bookstores are offering $5 return by mail for rental textbooks. Students should visit the Rental Return page on the online bookstore site to create a UPS label. Students will need their order ID to complete the transaction. The deadline for textbook rental returns is August 4.
