Former Polk State Board of Trustees Member Honored

Jean Gibson of Lake Wales will be honored in March as one of the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida’s “Women of Distinction.” In addition to Polk State, Gibson has served on the boards of the Imperial Symphony Orchestra, United Way of Central Florida, and Lake Wales Family YMCA. She’s also a past president and board chairwoman of the Lake Wales Arts Council and head of the Lake Wales Art Show. Her honor was covered in a Ledger article.
