Canvas sign on now uses Polk State credentials

Polk State College students and faculty will now use their College-issued email credentials to access Canvas.

Instead of having a separate login to access Canvas, students and faculty will now use the same login used to access their Polk State email accounts. The URL is polk.edu/sso and can be accessed at the top of the College’s home page by clicking Canvas.

Canvas is the College’s learning management system which includes access to class assignments, syllabi, and other materials related to each specific course.

Assistance by phone is available from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday through Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. It is also available on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

When visiting Canvas, users will choose between three clickable buttons – students, staff, and non-credit students. Users will then select the option that applies to them to be taken to the login screen. They will then use their Polk State email credentials to access Canvas.
