Posted on by Polk Newsroom

Students who made payments for qualified tuition and related expenses in 2020 may access their 1098-T tax forms via Passport. Students may log in to their Passport accounts and click on “My Financial Tab” to access the documents via the “1098-T,” 1098-T Information,” and “Calendar Year 2020” links.

What is a 1098-T?
Polk State College is required to file a 1098-T Tuition Statement with the Internal Revenue Service for students who made payments for qualified tuition and related expenses during the calendar year. The form is used to compute eligibility for education-related tax credits. Non-standard fees are not included. Examples of non-standard fees include book purchases, obligations, testing fees, late fee charges, health fees, and parking fees.

More information is available at the “Frequently Asked Questions” link located at the bottom of each 1098-T document. Students may also contact accountsreceivable@polk.edu for assistance.
