Scholarship Opportunities

Honors Program Scholarships:

Honors Program Scholarships are awarded to students participating in the Polk State College Honors Program.

Criteria:

The student must have a minimum unweighted high school GPA of 3.5 (i.e., if there is no college GPA), have a minimum college GPA of 3.2, or have appropriate test scores for admission to the Honors Program if the student is homeschooled or has earned a GED certificate and has no college GPA.

The student must be admitted to the Honors Program.

The student must be enrolled full-time in each fall and spring term.

The scholarship award for each term cannot exceed the actual tuition and fees in any term; if a student is awarded two scholarships, some funds may be converted to cover books or other fees.

The student must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.

The Honors Program Scholarship application period is now open until April 30, 2024. Click here to apply.

Please note the Honors Program Scholarship provides funds toward tuition and fees. If you are a dual enrollment student, this scholarship will not benefit you since tuition and fees are waived. If you have any questions about the application process, please contact Megan Cavanah at mcavanah@polk.edu.
