Overall Criteria for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship:
- Must have a high school GPA of 3.5 (unweighted) or an overall college GPA of 3.0. College students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours. High school students must be seniors and have completed the Polk State College admission process.
- Must be a Polk State College student, full or part-time, to use funds. Any Polk State College student may apply.
- Funds may be used for courses, textbooks, or school-related supplies.
Application/Essay Requirements:
Complete application and typed, two-page, double-spaced essay in Word doc. format, and submit by the deadline.
