In a campus emergency situation, how can you stay informed?
You can receive Polk State College (PSC) emergency notifications and updates via the PSCAlert system.
Immediate safety alerts, emergency closings, cancellations, re-openings, and updates will be sent directly to you through any of the devices that you register. It takes just a few minutes to update your emergency contact information in PASSPORT, which will send text or instant messages to registered mobile phones, wireless PDAs, pagers, and/or email addresses.
To make sure you are notified in case of an emergency, please make sure your Student and Employee Profiles in PASSPORT are up to date with your most current telephone numbers and email addresses.

PSC offers this service free of charge. However, any message charges from your phone company or service provider will be your responsibility. You will be unsubscribed from this service after you graduate or leave the College.
