DEADLINE TO SUBMIT ARTWORK: Wednesday, April 16

EXHIBITION DATES: April 21 – May 8

RECEPTION: April 29, 2025 | 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

 

Polk State College is hosting its Annual Student Art Exhibition and Competition. Students can enter the following categories: Drawing, Painting, Ceramics, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Photography, and Design (including digital media or moving images). Any Polk State student may enter; you do not have to be an art major. Submission rules apply. The exhibition is competitive therefore all artwork is subject to review by the gallery committee and exhibition judge.

To enter, students should read and follow all of the instructions on the following entry form found HERE and submit their work by Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Artwork can be dropped off at the Winter Haven Campus Fine Arts Gallery Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

If students need to make special arrangements to drop off artwork, please contact Nancy Lozell at nlozell@Polk.edu.

If students need assistance or advice about framing, please contact Holly Scoggins at hscoggins@polk.edu.

All artworks should be picked up between May 12 – 16, 2025.

The Polk State Lakeland Art Gallery hosts exhibits by Polk State students and national and regional artists. Additionally, the Student Center is a modern, inviting space perfect for intimate musical performances and other gatherings.
