The Polk State College Foundation has extended reservations for its Sip & Support event with presenting sponsor Citizens Bank & Trust. The Foundation invites the community to gather with friends and family for a delightful evening at home featuring hand-selected wines, artisan food pairings, and an exclusive, live virtual discussion with a world-renowned winemaker and an award-winning chef, all in support of Polk State student scholarships.
Sip & Support will take place via Zoom on October 8, 2021, at 7 p.m. Reservations are available through Monday, September 13, and can be made online at foundation.polk.edu/wisdom.
Each Sip & Support ticket serves two participants and includes three demi bottles of hand-selected wines from Napa Valley, paired with a custom charcuterie board filled with delicious artisanal fare to be enjoyed while participating in a live Zoom presentation with winemaker Jean Hoeflinger and Chef Bob Aungst. Guests should be prepared to pick up their wine and charcuterie from the Polk State Winter Haven Campus on October 8 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Special arrangements can be made for pickup if necessary. Also included in the experience is the opportunity to participate in a silent auction from 9 a.m. on October 6 through 9 p.m. on October 8.
Additional information including Zoom links and details for pickup will be provided upon purchase of tickets. Click here to purchase tickets and support Polk State students.
