Polk State College’s on-campus internet access and Passport system will be temporarily unavailable beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 3. The College’s Information Technology Department will be upgrading internet security systems and should be complete by 10 p.m.

Polk State’s PASSPORT system is the primary database for all student academic and financial accounts. The outage will affect individuals applying to the College, registering for classes, and individuals accessing degree audits and financial account information. The outage will also affect anyone trying to VPN into campus.

Student and employee email accounts, Canvas, and the polk.edu website will not be affected during the system upgrade process.
