Polk State phone lines have been restored

UPDATE 10/26/21 4:57 P.M. – Polk State College’s phone lines have been restored to full functionality following a larger local outage caused by a main fiber line break between Polk and Tampa. Service providers will continue to work on repairs to the line overnight and the College will provide updates regarding service if needed.

UPDATE 10/26/21 12:10 P.M. –  Polk State College’s phone outage appears to be due to larger local outages caused by a main fiber line break between Polk and Tampa. Internal calls are working at this time, but external calls cannot be made or received. The College is monitoring updates from service providers to determine when full service will be restored.

The College encourages students seeking help with admission, registration, and financial aid to utilize the webchat feature on www.polk.edu or email registrar@polk.edu or financialaid@polk.edu. Updates will continue to be provided.
