Polk State Foundation scholarship application open through June 15

The Polk State College Foundation’s scholarship application for fall 2026 funding is open June 1 through June 15.

This is a secondary application window with limited scholarship availability. Students who were not selected during the primary February application period are encouraged to log in and strengthen their applications by updating key components, such as their essays, volunteer hours, academic information and extracurricular involvement.

Current students can visit polk.academicworks.com to create or update their scholarship account. Additional information about available scholarships and instructions to complete the scholarship application process are available on the site.

Students seeking more information or assistance with completing the application can email foundation@polk.edu.

The Foundation awards approximately $1.2 million in scholarships annually.

Individuals interested in applying should ensure they are registered Polk State College students. Prospective students must submit a free, online application to Polk State. Students who have not taken courses for three consecutive semesters should reapply and be readmitted to the College as a returning student.

Scholarship funds awarded during this cycle will be available for use beginning in the Fall 2026 Semester and may be used until they are fully expended or expire after the Summer 2027 Semester.
