Polk State Foundation scholarship application is open

Posted on by Polk Newsroom

The Polk State College Foundation’s application for scholarships for the 2022-2023 Academic Year is reopened through 5 p.m. on July 10.

The Foundation awards approximately $1 million in scholarships to Polk State students annually.

Students can visit polk.academicworks.com for more information and to complete the scholarship application process. Students who submitted applications during the Spring 2022 Semester do not need to reapply.

It is important to note that individuals who are interested in applying should ensure that they are registered Polk State students. Prospective students must submit a free, online application to Polk State. Students who have not taken courses for three consecutive semesters should re-apply and be re-admitted to the College as a returning student.

Students seeking more information or assistance with completing the application can email foundation@polk.edu.

Applications will be reviewed and rated by an independent committee, and notices will be emailed to all applicants in May.

Foundation scholarships will be available for use beginning in the fall semester of the current year and may be used in subsequent terms until they are fully expended, expired, or terminated pursuant to donor requirements.
