Polk State closed May 25 in honor of Memorial Day
Polk State College will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, in honor of Memorial Day. Saturday classes will meet on Saturday, May 23.
Additionally, registration will continue for summer classes that start on June 23. Priority registration is also underway for the Fall 2026 Semester for students who have completed at least 50% of their program requirements. Open registration for fall will start when the College reopens on Tuesday, May 26.
Currently enrolled Polk State students can register for classes in the Polk Portal. Prospective students should submit a free online application to the College by clicking here. Dual enrollment students should work with their high school advisors and email deregistration@polk.edu if they need assistance.
