Polk State Art accepting student exhibition submissions

Polk State College is hosting its annual Student Art Exhibition and all students are welcome to enter their art into the competition. Submissions are being accepted through 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, with the exhibition scheduled from April 10 through May 5. Students who are interested in submitting their art should visit www.polk.edu/visual-arts/art-gallery for more information and complete the entry form available by clicking here.

The exhibition is competitive, therefore all artwork is subject to review by the gallery committee and exhibition judge. A reception will take place on April 25 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Lakeland Campus Art Gallery where awards will be presented in the categories of drawing, painting, photography, design (including digital), sculpture, ceramics, and mixed media. Students may enter up to five artworks in total — no more than three pieces per category.
