Polk State announces important tuition dates for Summer 2026 Semester

Posted on by Polk Newsroom

As the Spring 2026 Semester nears an end and the Summer 2026 Semester approaches, Polk State College students should ensure that all classes have been paid for.

With classes beginning on May 11, tuition and fees, and all balances must be paid in full by Friday, May 8. This includes all 12-week, eight-week and six-week classes.

Students who have a balance due will be dropped from classes on Monday, May 11.

Students can add 16-week and Fastrack 1 classes through the Polk Portal until Wednesday, May 13. Academic advisors will remain available to assist with registration. Sunday, May 17, is the final day to drop a class for the 12-week and first six-week sessions and receive a full refund.

It’s important to note that students who add classes after the session begins must ensure payment is completed promptly. Those with unpaid fees will be dropped on Tuesday, May 19 and/or dates listed on the schedule below.
