Polk State announces important tuition dates for Fall 2026 Semester

Posted on by Michael Ferguson

With less than three weeks separating us from the start of the Fall 2026 Semester, Polk State College students should ensure that all classes have been paid for.

With classes beginning on Aug. 10, tuition and fees, and all balances must be paid in full by Friday, Aug. 7. This includes all 12-week, eight-week and six-week classes.

Students who have a balance due will be dropped from classes on Monday, Aug. 10.

Students can add 16-week and Fastrack 1 classes through the Polk Portal until Thursday, Aug. 13. Academic advisors will remain available to assist with registration. Monday, Aug. 17, is the final day to drop a class for the 12-week and first six-week sessions and receive a full refund.

It’s important to note that students who add classes after the session begins must ensure payment is completed promptly. Those with unpaid fees will be dropped during the week of Aug. 17 and/or dates listed on the schedule below.
