Polk State College’s PASSPORT is fully restored and operational.

1/19/2022 5:45 P.M. UPDATE:

Polk State College’s PASSPORT site and the College’s application page are currently unavailable due to technical difficulties.

Students are encouraged to email registrar@polk.edu for a College application. Completed applications and residency forms can be scanned and returned by email or can be returned in person at the Lakeland or Winter Haven Campuses or the JD Alexander Center.

Additionally, students are encouraged to reach out to the College’s advising staff for assistance with registration by email or phone, or in person.

Students can email advising staff based on the first letter of their last name:

A-M: onlineadvisinga@polk.edu
N-Z: onlineadvisingz@polk.edu

They can also call 863.297.1000 and ask to speak with an advisor. Operators are available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday to help route calls.

Students can also visit with advisors in person on the Lakeland and Winter Haven campuses and at the JD Alexander Center in Lake Wales from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.

Students who need an update on the status of their financial aid account because they are unable to view it in PASSPORT at this time can email financialaid@polk.edu.

The PASSPORT temporary outage also affects online payments for classes. Students can visit the Winter Haven Campus Cash Management Office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. or the Lakeland Cash Management Office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to pay in person or wait until PASSPORT is operational.

The College’s IT Department is working to address the issue and expects a resolution shortly.

The College’s other web-based services including the website, Canvas, web email, and all library and tutoring services are unaffected.
