Internet and phone service restored – withdrawal deadline for 16-week session extended

UPDATE 9:35 P.M.  Due to today’s campus internet outage, the College has extended the withdrawal deadline for the 16-week session to Monday, March 31, 2025, at 5 p.m.

UPDATE 6:06 P.M. Internet and phone service has been restored.

UPDATE 3:31 P.M. Classes will take place as scheduled Thursday despite the Internet and phone outage. Students are encouraged to check Canvas for communication from their professors specific to their classes.

Open house is also taking place as scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Winter Haven Campus. The libraries and Teaching Learning Computing Centers (TLCCs) are also open.

College personnel are working diligently to address the outage. Updates will be provided on polk.edu and social media.
