Polk State held its 113th commencement ceremony Dec. 17 at The Lakeland Center. The ceremony featured remarks by Madeline Pumariega, chancellor of the Florida College System, and Auburndale Police Chris Nelson, who received the College’s Distinguished Alumnus Award.
